Compositing Crazyness

Yeah- well i just finished my compositing class, and let me tell you-this was not an easy one. I hope i did well enough to pass. I mean it, im never feel like im in a position that i will fail, but this one is close. Im glad i learned how to do it, and i feel comfortable if im asked to do so. Perhaps ill put the video up, im not sure yet. For the project, i had to incorporate CG elements to real footage, blend them well enough so the CG stuff-well, doenst look CG. I think i did alright, i mean its not perfect. But for my first time-shoot i think its great.

Anyways today is my first day towards creating my demo reel-thus the beginning of my carreer. It's pretty scary. I think im ready, i feel like i have pretty good ideas. Plus i know that God is gonna help me do the best that i can. He's never let me down, i know He will be there with me. Well thats it for now-until next time

Demo reel around the corner

I'm currently thinking about what i want to do for my demo reel. I start working on it next month, I can't believe this moment is finally here. I feel this tremendous amount of pressure, but like all things in life, somehow everything works out. I think i've got a few pretty good ideas, but i still want to come up with more.

Of course, before i get to that, i still have to make through compositing, which is the class i'm currently in. And let me tell you, this class is tough. I mean. compositing is really cool, and i would love to be good at it, but man, we have to learn Shake (the software) in like 3 weeks and then apply it to a final project that determines whether we pass or not...I'm not complaining it's just, kinda scary. Anyways, im sure it's gonna be just fine.

Currently im studying to be a character animator. Animation is so fun, but i know that i still needs lots of work. I also enjoy Lighting and texturing, and doing illustrations. I hope with the good Lord before me, He will help me find my place.
